Hello! 

I’m Anna Motkova, a commercial illustrator based in Slovakia. 

I specialize in children’s and young adult book illustration, working in a bright, graphic, and clean style with lively, kind-hearted characters. 

My illustrations often explore themes of friendship, trust, and joyful adventures, aiming to make characters feel alive and believable so viewers can connect more deeply with the story.

Much of my inspiration comes from everyday life, small moments around me, and my beloved dogs, who often influence the warmth and playfulness in my work. I love seeing a story come to life through an image. 

Currently, I’m collaborating with Fortuna Libri, a well-established Slovak publishing house, on my first children’s books. I work primarily in Procreate and Adobe Photoshop.
